[03:04]<+camerongray> BC_Programming: What did he say where it says "Visit [removed] Nuff said."?
[03:21]<@BC_Programming> oh
[03:22]<@BC_Programming> he posted some random website
[03:22]<@BC_Programming> I'll see if I can find it in my history
[03:22]<@BC_Programming> ahh here it is
[03:22]<@BC_Programming> http://www.teachmelee.com/
[03:26]<+camerongray> tell me that's him
[03:26]<@BC_Programming> probably
[03:27]<@BC_Programming> he was very desparately trying to make himself an authority on something so that he can make an argument from authority, without understanding that it would be a logical fallacy to assert he was correct because he was an authority even if he was
[03:27]<+camerongray> Wow!
[03:27]<+camerongray> Looks... "professional"
[03:28]<@BC_Programming> it doesn't even rank on Alexa
[03:28]<+camerongray> What does golf have to do with it? :P
[03:28]<@BC_Programming> si as far as websites go I guess I won there too
[03:28]<+camerongray> lol!
[03:28]<@BC_Programming> I mean sure mine is ranked like 13 million but that's better than "No data available" lol
[03:29]<+camerongray> lol!
[03:29]<@BC_Programming> haha http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,138269.15/topicseen.html
[03:29]<+camerongray> Still classic though "I'm a computer service professional, look at my website that makes no sense"
[03:30]<@BC_Programming> heh yeah
[03:30]<@BC_Programming> I mean I would honestly welcome actual arguments that are sensible, but he had nothing
[03:30]<+camerongray> Yeah
[03:31]<+camerongray> "I don't like Windows 8, lets boycott it"
[03:31]<@BC_Programming> With UAC I had a 'discussion' with Allan because he doesn't like it but at least he had sensible reasons. I don't recall Allan ever calling me a "troll" for asking for actual refutations and less ad hominem
[03:31]<+camerongray> I remember when I brought a Windows 8 machine into work, everyone was playing with it!
[03:31]<@BC_Programming> because you know if I get into ad hominem they will cry
[03:34]<+camerongray> "Now. Go develop something useful we can all download to enhance our computer experience. (binary boy)." *facepalm"
[03:34]<@BC_Programming> lol
[03:35]<@BC_Programming> I was close to responding
[03:35]<@BC_Programming> but I would have sent him to the hospital for the third-degree burns
[03:35]<+camerongray> tehehe
[03:35]<@BC_Programming> I mean when you link a site like THAT it's hard not to
[03:35]<+camerongray> lol!
[03:36]<+camerongray> If I started advertising repairs, my site would have multiple pages!
[03:36]<+camerongray> And not have some strange combination of my interests and computer repairs
[03:36]<@BC_Programming> what is a PC Golfer?
[03:36]<+camerongray> Someone who plays golf on a PC?
[03:36]<@BC_Programming> heh
[03:36]<+camerongray> "Computer Repairs for people who like Irn Bru"
[03:36]<+camerongray> That could be mine
[03:37]<@BC_Programming> heh
[03:37]<@BC_Programming> "Software Development with Ponies"
[03:37]<+camerongray> lol!
[03:37]<@BC_Programming> oh wait, my site has more than one page
[03:37]<@BC_Programming> darn
[03:38]<+camerongray> "PC repairs for MLP lovers, and professionals, and the general public, basically everyone"
[03:39]<@BC_Programming> aww
[03:40]<@BC_Programming> I tried to FTP login
[03:40]<@BC_Programming> Username: LeeRay Password: SuperTweaker
[03:40]<@BC_Programming> that would have been hilarious
[03:40]<@BC_Programming> lol
[03:40]<@BC_Programming> <meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
[03:41]<@BC_Programming> also the TeamViewer link actually links to a file he has on the webhost
[03:42]<+camerongray> lol
[03:44]<@BC_Programming> OMG
[03:44]<@BC_Programming> port 3306 is OPEN
[03:44]<@BC_Programming> MySQL
[03:46]<+camerongray> Oh dear...
[03:47]<@BC_Programming> http://www.teachmelee.com:443/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi herro
[03:50]<@BC_Programming> lol "over 800 satisfied customers"
[03:53]<@BC_Programming> ok I'm bored now
[04:01]<+camerongray> tehehe
[04:01]<+camerongray> Just had to stop the server deployment while we figure out what whiskey names are available for hostnmaes
[04:02]<@BC_Programming> heheh
[04:11]<+camerongray> Woo, got the hostnames!
[04:12]<+camerongray> "I christen thee Lagavulin and Talisker"
[04:13]<@BC_Programming> lol
[04:13]<@BC_Programming> then you get a netbook and it's called Irn
[04:16]<+camerongray> hahah

[05:25]<@BC_Programming> "* +camerongray smashes bottle of whiskey over servers"
[05:25]<+camerongray> lol!

[05:26]<+camerongray> <camerongray> "I christen thee Lagavulin and Talisker"
[05:26]<@jacky> BC_Programming: 4:26am there?
[05:26]<@jacky> hehehe
[05:26]<@BC_Programming> yep
[05:26]<+camerongray> To be fair, not sure if that makes me sound drunk too
[05:27]<@jacky> BC_Programming: up early? or up late? heh
[05:27]<@BC_Programming> neither, it's quiet and night so I can do stuffs.. otherwise I can't concentrate
[05:28]<+camerongray> We ran out of magic roundabout characters, then out of Scottish islands so now we have moved to naming machines after whiskey
[05:28]<@jacky> camerongray: you are lucky. I'm just here for a few min. Else BC and I would start a whole conversation, typed like this: Wg mont di qewr ws? Vnep awpevnes apwiwn

[06:11]<+camerongray> Bloody Microsoft!
[06:11]<+camerongray> Set up Server 2012 essentials on first server - Works fine
[06:11]<+camerongray> Set up second server "Oh, you can't join the domain of that other server"
[06:11]<@BC_Programming> Vista Prelude
[06:11]<+camerongray> lol!
[06:12]<+camerongray> Didn't even want to use a domain, but it forces you to set the server as a domain controller
[06:12]<+camerongray> Which completely stuffs it up if you want multiple servers together
[06:12]<+camerongray> Time to buy Standard :(
[06:12]<+camerongray> And reinstall the servers, we wanted to prototype them today, guess that's tomorrow's work!
[09:21]<@Mulreay> Is there anywhere that Edward Snowden HASN'T applied for asylum?! Aside from the US, clearly.
[09:31]<+camerongray> hehehe
[09:54]<@BC_Programming> Victory
[09:54]<@BC_Programming> Apparently SuperTweaker deleted his account
[09:55]<+camerongray> Yep!
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> man that was a good run though
[09:55]<@BC_Programming> I like how he tried to call me a troll when he was the one who started making Personal Attacks
[09:56]<@BC_Programming> and I just said that they didn't refute anything I said
[09:56]<+camerongray> Yeah
[09:56]<@BC_Programming> I like the ones that attack how long my posts are
[09:57]<+camerongray> Like who would not like an OS and start protesting about it as though it was some massive government corruption
[09:57]<+camerongray> yeah!
[09:58]<@BC_Programming> "how dare you exhaustively destroy my arguments, I shall now make vacuous personal attacks" -SuperTweaker
[09:59]<@BC_Programming> it's probably for the best that I didn't respond in kind, my responses would have included colourful comparisons
[10:24]<@Mulreay> heh
[10:36]<@Mulreay> The US flag was designed by a schoolboy who got a B- for the project; his teacher changed it to an A when it became the national flag
[10:37]<@BC_Programming> Hmm My GPU is at 100 degrees :/
[10:38]<@Mulreay> You could make a cup of tea on it... 'Earl grey Hot' type of thing.. just pretend you're Picard
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> heh
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> 104
[10:38]<@BC_Programming> hmm this cannot be good :/
[10:38]<@Mulreay> Needs a clean?
[10:39]<@BC_Programming> I refuse to open the case
[10:39]<@BC_Programming> If I break anything I'm screwed and I tend to have bad luck when that is the case
[10:39]<@Mulreay> Ahhhh just thought of a much wittier line I could have said before the picard joke... oh well we live and learn
[10:40]<@BC_Programming> I wonder how long it's actually gotten >100 under load
[10:40]<@BC_Programming> only noticed because I forgot to close speedfan
[10:41]<@Mulreay> Is it under load?
[10:41]<@BC_Programming> it was
[10:41]<@BC_Programming> before I closed Minecraft
[10:41]<@Mulreay> ahh
[10:41]<@BC_Programming> down to 86 now
[10:42]<+camerongray> When was the last time you cleaned it?
[10:42]<@BC_Programming> A while ago, but it's always been like this
[10:43]<+camerongray> Ahh
[10:43]<@BC_Programming> it would Overheat before I repasted it
[10:43]<+camerongray> Could be bad thermal compound then
[10:43]<+camerongray> Ahh
[10:43]<@BC_Programming> and people wonder why BFG went under
[10:43]<+camerongray> What's the case ventilation like?
[10:43]<+camerongray> hehhe
[10:44]<@Mulreay> My new PC is at 36c which I cannot understand as I'm sure the room is close to that
[10:45]<@Mulreay> The HDD is however at 47c
[10:46]<@BC_Programming> only one of my temperatures have a checkmark next to them
[10:46]<@BC_Programming> the other are fire symbols
[10:47]<@BC_Programming> Oh wait one of the other temps just un-fired
[10:47]<@Mulreay> That can't be a good symbol for anything
[10:47]<@BC_Programming> GPU:83, Temp1:46, Temp2:45 Cores:69,64,69,69
[10:48]<@BC_Programming> cant' seem to find HDD temps... though that is probably for the best
[10:48]<@Mulreay> My GPU is at 1c.. which makes no sense as it's intergrated
[10:48]<@BC_Programming> one degree
[10:49]<@Mulreay> My external drive is the one at 47c and the internal is at 37c
[10:49]<@BC_Programming> hmm well according to HDD Health I don't have any hard drive at all
[10:49]<@BC_Programming> I have to say that takes me by surprise
[10:49]<@BC_Programming> I've been living a lie this whole time I suppose
[10:51]<@Mulreay> Maybe you don't have a HDD and all this time it's been printing onto paper inside the case.. did you check?
[10:53]<@BC_Programming> I'm scared
[10:58]<@BC_Programming> Thunderbird has been trying to show me a E-mail notification for about 10 minutes
[10:58]<@BC_Programming> it's managed to create the little window but hasn't managed to actually tell me anything
[10:59]<+camerongray> teheehe
[10:59]<@BC_Programming> You can do it little birdie
[11:00]<@BC_Programming> aww... it gave up
[11:01]<@BC_Programming> hmm
[11:01]<@BC_Programming> from a recruiter
[11:01]<@BC_Programming> why do recruiters always have funny names
[11:02]<@BC_Programming> "Chander"
[11:02]<@BC_Programming> Lol Linkedin... so I googled him and he's on Linked in, and linked in says
[11:02]<@BC_Programming> "Canada Area"
[11:03]<@BC_Programming> Yeah that narrows it down

[12:17]<@BC_Programming> Hmm I'm not sure if a 3-D arkanoid style game is the way to go
[12:17]<@BC_Programming> I might want to try something else similar, but not the same
[12:18]<@BC_Programming> like maybe you don't have a paddle, but instead are shooting balls at the block arrangement

[12:44]<@Mulreay> Nice BC_Programming
[12:48]<+camerongray> Nice!
[12:49]<@BC_Programming> I'm thinking it will have blocks like that, but instead of a paddle you'll shoot balls
[12:49]<@BC_Programming> maybe for example there are different coloured blocks, and only a ball that is the same colour can knockem loose?

[15:11]<jamer> so .... i have new computer speakers
[15:39]<+camerongray> Nice, what ones?
[15:40]<jamer> they arent fully made yet but they are two 6 inch speakers out of an old van hatch (98 pontiac trans am) and im running them without a amp XD
[15:41]<jamer> two 4 ohm speakers XD
[15:49]<+camerongray> AHh
[15:49]<+camerongray> I was boring and bought some Bose ones :P
[15:54]<jamer> :P
[15:55]<jamer> ive got to build a box for both of them
[16:01]<+camerongray> hehehe
[16:22]<jamer> ive got the wiring all figured out XD
[16:48]<@BC_Programming> hmm this is going to get mighty confusing since I have classes with the same name in this new 3-D thing as I do from BASeBlock
[16:48]<@BC_Programming> at least I can try to make a less stupid object heirarchy. That's all you can really ask for when you start a new project, try to make it less stupid than your previous one
[17:04]<@BC_Programming> "foreach (var iterateobject in from obj in GameObjects where obj is T select obj as T)"
[17:04]<@BC_Programming> don't know why but that line made me laugh
[17:12]<jamer> these speakers have bass O.o
[17:13]<+camerongray> BC_Programming: I'm trying to write a module system for my CMS!
[17:14]<+camerongray> Coming on really well, you can now write a function with it's name beginning with 'TAG_', take in an array of parameters and then return a string of some kind
[17:14]<+camerongray> You then call it by inserting a tag in a page like this - [* test_module.view('This is the title!', 'And this is content!') *]
[17:15]<+camerongray> Then when the page is loaded, the function runs with those paramters and the tag is replaced with what was returned!
[17:16]<+camerongray> And the module runs within the CMS application so it can access things like the database as well as all the models that are already in place!
[17:19]<@BC_Programming> neat
[17:19]<+camerongray> Yep!
[17:20]<+camerongray> Getting really fancy
[17:20]<+camerongray> Designed for small sites though, where someone like me would build it but a client would update it
[17:20]<+camerongray> So the actual UI is super easy
[17:21]<@BC_Programming> my 3-D pre-game thing has sound now lol
[17:21]<+camerongray> nice!
[17:21]<+camerongray> All AJAX based too
[17:22]<+camerongray> But will fall back if someone doesn't have JS
[17:22]<@BC_Programming> I'm trying to think how the game would work. I want to take advantage of the physics, so I don't think it can just be a 3-D arkanoid thing
[17:23]<+camerongray> I'll need to open my CMS up so you can play with it
[17:23]<+camerongray> And try to break it
[17:23]<+camerongray> Just need to work out how to port forward through this lot: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BO_eQlLCMAACIet.jpg:large
[17:24]<+camerongray> Plus another router downstairs!
[17:24]<@BC_Programming> I'm thinking there could be different coloured blocks, and you can shoot one ball at a time
[17:24]<@BC_Programming> and the balls have those colours as well, but only a ball that is the same colour will "activate" a block of that colour
[17:24]<+camerongray> ahh, that sounds cool
[17:25]<@BC_Programming> maybe instead of a paddle
[17:25]<@BC_Programming> there could be a little catching bucket
[17:25]<@BC_Programming> and you try to catch the blocks when they fall after you shoot the ball
[17:27]<@BC_Programming> I'll cheat and not have the camera move initially because that camera stuff is confusing
